Alex Bailey Blowpop: Locations

Evening all! I have this icey inspired look today. I dunno why but when I put on this cool vines and roses outfit from Petrichor I just wanted to do like an ice Prince thing. My mind works in mysterious ways, it's just the vibe I got though and I ran with it.

To complement the outfit I have these awesome boots by N-core. They also come in another version that isn't such a dramatic platform. I love the gradient style of them up the legs so I might end up going back to buy the other style. I mean I knew I would like them otherwise I wouldn't have bought them but I didn't expect to like them quite this much. They may well be my go-to for fantasy looks like this for a while.

I needed to of course add some more frostiness to the look to really finish it off and my lovely friend who owns Unstable must have read my mind because she sent me this tattoo and it was PERFECT. Like, exactly what I needed. I already had the Ice Queen make up from Rainbow Sundae but I needed something for the body to finish it off and this was just chefs kiss. Plus adding a staff always helps.

Today's post is brought to you by: Freya is updating the Hilted sim and doing lots of landscaping and its beautiful! It's not done yet so if you come for an explore you may see some chaos, but so far is really beautiful. This black sandy beach is just beautiful and I love it. Its what I imagine beaches on the moon would look like, haha.

This started out life as I wanted to go for a gothy look on the black sand and be all sexy... and then it went all blue and yellow and cutesy... and then this. It was quite the journey. There are lots of fun and colourful patterns with this outfit that I was not expecting so it was fun to go through them all. The blue with daisies on is very pretty and will go nice for a more masculine bunny butterfly!

I added a bunch of accessories because, why not! A good beach outfit needs some sunnies and a cool pank drank. These go so cute together actually and I love the little slogan on the drink cup. These earrings are also amazing for elfy ears. They would look nice on human ears too but they just sit so nice on elfy ones. They are all unrigged so you can fit them however you like!

Hey, hey guess what? IT'S COLD HERE!!! It is wonderful to not have the scorching summer sun here in the real world, and it has put me in a much better mood. Now I know this post does not at all reflect the weather we are currently experiencing but I think it shows the joy I have for the rain and the cold breeze. It is delightful and I am so happy for the heatwave to be gone.

So onto my outfit. Now, really I should of been blogging something completely different that I had been wearing for a week with the intention to blog. However, I changed into this for a family party that was unicorn themed and it was just too cute to not share. Plus this adorable unicorn stuffy has just been released by Short Leash and that confirmed that I needed to blog this. I will get the other look blogged because it's pretty cool looking and I have the outfit saved. Today I just wanted to show this off though.

I know some of you are probably getting sick of the pink by now. I promise you the next one has a lot of black... and a little pink. But its hot pink, not pastel, so that's something right? I may actually go in and mess with the outfit and change it to be blue or something for a change. I just find that this avatar looks really good with the pastel pinks and he looks so sweet don't you think? He is by far my favourite avatar at the moment and the one I have been spending the most time on.

Do you wanna... go for a... WALK? I saw this hoodie on FB from MuggleBorn, proceeded to scream and share it about 3 times as WIP were teased and final ads came out, and then I finally got my hands on it. Since it has super cute paw prints on it so I had to take my photos in the Short Leash Puppy Park. I grabbed a leash, grabbed a pupper and I walked on down for a stroll until I found the perfect spot for today's photos.

To go with the hoodie I matched it with some simple shorts, and then these boots and my collar. The boots and collar actually match the hoodie colours pretty perfect and it's not just the blue but a few of the other pastel colours are perfect matches too. I originally had the pink on but I decided to go for blue as I have been sharing a lot of pink lately and wanted to break it up a little. I kept my hair though because I am in love with the pink hair right now.

Now I am wearing the EVEboy body still and I had to wear other sizes of some of the items to fit it. The shorts are Omega appliers so that was pretty easy. The hoodie is the V-Tech size which is why I had been screaming about this all over Facebook because I always want EVERYTHING that is for V-Tech. The boots are actually a mid-calf height boot that are rigged, but, as a cool added bonus this short boot version is included and it is unrigged. Now I did try all the tall boot versions but the calf was just too wide on the female sizes. I have not tried any male sizes as of yet though. But unrigged makes life so much easier when it comes to shoes and these I am sure are going to be a staple for me with this body.

I hadn't bought any new makeup for a while but I really wanted to mix it up on this head. I love wearing makeup on him because he is just so cute as the makeup just makes him even cuter. So I grabbed some Lipstick that is designed for the head and some more Omega eye makeups which you will see more off un the future.

Greetings! Today's post is brought to you by, I dunno what to say. No, really I don't, it been a long day and my brain is mush. Anywho, I got the new Logo Mae head that is at uber and oh my Pineapple is it cute. I was messing around with skins and I put this one on just on a whim and ended up really liking it so kept it on. Originally I had a lovely human skin and was wearing ginger hair with the green outfit, but when I tried this skin on everything changed.

Yes, I have become somewhat of a head whore, but I like to experiment. I have wanted a logo head for a long time, and that is because the ear sliders work fully and you can have pointed elf ears! Not only that, but you can buy rigged bento elf ears that work with the animations. Now, I always thought these ears worked for Logo heads only, and I was wrong. They actually fit a variety of heads and come with their own animation AO that you can use with other head. I love watching the ear wiggle a little when I happy animation plays.

Another big focus for this is my little birdy friend here. He is called Little Toot and because of that I have had Ylvis song Mr Toot in my head all day. It is a funny song and one of my favs. I have it on my "Music To Cheer You Up" playlist. Anywho, he is an animesh pet that by default attaches to your shoulder and flys up and down. I tried attaching him to my hand to see if he would work with these poses and yes! He attached. It took a lot of adjustment mind you to get him to sit right, but it worked. Now obviously in everyday SL he would look silly attached to my hand like that, but it does mean you could attach him to your head if you wanted and it would work perfectly fine as you walk around. Or if you had a staff or sceptre with a hold animation you could have him attached to hand and position him on top of the staff. That would be neat!

So that is it really. There is lots of extra details on items down in my credits. I figured that may be a good way to add as much useful information into these blogs as possible. So I hope you like that format.

Good day my fine Second Lifers, how are you all on this fine day? If you didn't read that in a stereotypical posh English accent then please do so now as that is the voice I used when typing it. It's an odd day today and I will talk a little more about what is going on in my world further into the blog. For right now I want to talk about some of these items more in depth, so let's get into it!

I am not wearing very much today because I felt I didn't need to. The items I am wearing have so much detail in them that I feel they speak for themselves. The outfit I am wearing comes all together, but they are not linked so you can wear shorts, tank top and tube top separately if you wish. The shorts you can change the colour of the metals. the shorts and the belt. You can also show or hide the belt and the metal detailing. The tank top can be worn in a plain colour style, or you can opt for this decal style that I am wearing, which I love and I find gives this so much uniqueness. The tank top also has transparency options which is neat too. You can change the colours of the tube top and tank top separately as well.

So onto my real life. I don't talk a whole bunch about my real life on my blog, but when I do I try and keep it relevant which is why it is often about my health as that effects how often I post. I have been trying vaping CBD as a way to relieve some of my symptoms of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND for short) and my mental health issues. It has only been a couple of days but there is already such a difference in me and it has shown me just how bad things were. I knew my health was bad, I just didn't realise it was quite that bad. It has been enlightening, and although I have some experimenting to do with different strengths and types, so far I have been really enjoying the results.

Alright, let's get back on track, yeah? So I also wanted to talk about the poses I used today. These are pretty neat because you can buy these in 2 different styles, slim or curvy. That means if you have a larger avatar you can buy the curvy poses and not have issues with hands clipping and things like that. I have quite a slim avatar and even at times I have problems with that, so it's great to have those options. It also means if you are wearing a really frilled out dress could use the curvy poses to help not have your hands go inside of the dress. I will for sure be using those the next time I blog a ball gown or something along those lines.

The tea on Facebook today is hot and it has been keeping me well entertained! But I need to stop my fits of laughter and actually get this post done. Also in my defense, it is boiling hot here and when you are already having your temperature strike it makes it rather hard to concentrate. Anyways, let's get on with the show, shall we? P.S its not much a show, just a few pictures and me blabbering on for a few paragraphs.

Anywho, today's outfit is very much inspired by this harness. I saw it and I wanted it so bad. Now I often walk around my SL with little to nothing on, but not for my blog posts. The straps of the harness go up between the boobies as you can see and then come together and tie around the neck, it is pretty neat but the top you see here is not a part of the harness. I love layering clothes to give them a whole new look, and so this harness gave me a great challenge if I wanted to blog it. Turns out, finding something to cover my chesticles (apart from pasties) was not that hard! I went to Justice and grabbed a bunch of demos of cropped tops that were lower cut and I actually found a few that worked well with this and no clipping! My 2 favourites were this one and the Cristal Halter. I really wanted to wear the black version of the harness so this top won as the metallic black found in the fatpack (regular black is available as a single colour) matched perfectly. The Cristal works nicely with the other harness colours.

Now, what is a cat harness without some cat ears and a tail? This lovely set is currently at Fantasy Faire and comes with the armbands I am wearing also. There are so many colours to choose from on the HUD so you can make these match almost anything. I tried to challenge myself with a darker skin for a change. I always go for the pale look as it resembles my RL self, but I wanted to try something new with this. I actually rather like it and it has added some variety to my rather pasty Flickr feed as of late. I kept the pale eyes though, because the glitter in these eyes is just magical and divine and my favourite thing. I added a complimenting lipstick to my skin tone, some eyeshadow and nails to match the greenish blue in the cat eyes, and there we have it.

It did take me a while to mess with the windlight though and add in some extra lighting. I like to try and make my scene colours match and I was having some trouble with it today for some reason. I got there in the end after about an hour messing with different windlights and adding in some projectors. I hope you enjoy!

So... I actually had this post all ready on Tuesday? Wednesday? It's now Sunday. Oh boy. Anyways, as I said in my last post I am so in love with the Puppy Park at Short Leash that it has been my new favourite place for pastel and fantasy posts. I also just enjoy hanging out there and chilling out. It just has this wonderfully peaceful vibe and I can't get enough of it!

This look all started with these shoes which are currently a group gift at Moda. I love thigh high anything and the fact that it is thigh high ribbons just made me squee with excitement. So I grabbed these and decided to pair them with this bodysuit from MuggleBorn. Once I put my wings on it was a case of having all colour HUDs open and playing around to find combinations that matched, which did take rather a long time as I really wanted something colourful and happy looking and I always want my stuff to match. I don't have to worry about that problem too much in real life. Today I am wearing satin black, matte black and glitter black. Wow, crazy I know.

To finish off the fairy look I figured this necklace and earring set by Plastik would be perfect. They are very delicate and beautiful and I hope I captured them well enough in this picture. They are truly lovely and come with a huge colour HUD which is always a great thing. Hair ended up being the biggest problem for me with this look. I could just not for the life of me get something that was just perfect. I easily spent about an hour messing with hair, no joke, but Apple is a good old staple of mine so I just put her on as she always works! The stylist HUD means you can have the hair down or all up in the bun so it is very versatile.

Oh hello there, is that my LAQ Neve head I see? Why yes it is! I haven't worn this head in a while, mostly because I just hadn't bought anything new for it. I got my hands on the LAQ Powder Pack that was released on March 31st and now I have a bunch of new pretties for my head. I also adjusted my shape a little. My old shape was very focused on a more pointy elf look and I wanted to make it a little softer. I don't think it is quite perfect yet but I am happy with the changes so far. Give it a week and I will probably have it just the way I want it.

I am sorry I never got a video unboxing done of this pack. In short, because I have been very sick I ended up taking a short "holiday" to try and recuperate and now it's been more than 2 weeks since its release so I felt it was a little pointless now? Or would you still like to see the unboxing video? I guess now it would be more of a try on since I have already opened it all, haha. Anyway if you would still like to see that then just comment on this post or on my Facebook or whatever.

Ok, now onto my outfit. Plastik has a lot of awesome new things and I was in awe! I literally could not choose what I wanted to blog first there is so much awesome. I love making fantasy posts so much and Plastik is always drip feeding me amazing content to blog with. To complete the outfit I added these wings by Deadly Nightshade which the gold is just perfect with the outfit. The earrings I have are actually attached to these ears. I have wanted to show these off for a long time but I never had the perfect look. They come with 12 metal textures and a colour customization HUD which you can use to tint them any colour you like. I also love with their ears that the skin parts have more than 1 area to colour. You pick the base skin colour, and then the highlights and shadows are separate and you can tint them any colour you like to give more or less depth to the ears. I love it.

The location of my photos is Short Leash's new location. I am actually down in the Puppy Park which is a group only area, but the group is free to join. To say the park is beautiful would be an understatement. Once you get past the beauty you notice how tranquil it is. It's full of beautiful and colourful flowers, sparkling trees, and plenty of chill out spots where you watch the waterfalls splash and just relax. OMG it has been so long since I have done a V-Tech friendly post but there has been so much awesomeness recently that I can see a few more posts in the near future! So right now the Femboy Hunt is in full swing, but it ends on March 31st so you need to get to it fast if you want the goodies. There is a love of V-Tech friendly items, some home and decor, unisex accessories and even a fabulous suit for guys. So check out the gallery and see if there is anything that catches your eye.

There is kind of these Monster High vibes coming from this. Like there is the school dress uniform, some gym clothing and swimwear for swim lessons. I did have a book I was holding aswell that happened to match my hair, but that was being tested for a hunt that is coming up, so I never photographed it... yet. I will, however, when the time is right.

I actually started making this post days and days ago, but I have been increasingly unwell and have been so slow in getting anything done. I went and saw a nurse today and did a bunch of tests, so I just have to wait. I am so tired though, so so tired, and its making everything difficult. So I am sorry if I am not posting as much as I would normally, and that my write-ups aren't as enthusiastic as usual. I just don't really feel myself right now.

Sometimes I have no idea what to write in my posts, and today is one of those. I am mostly drawing a blank as for something fun and stupid to start this post off with. So meh. But anyways, Syndicate Sunday has just started for the March round with items for just L$69 and today I am wearing 2 items from the event. I already had my pale skin on from last post and I just kind of stuck with it. I had my male avatar on for days and not changed my female back to her more human self yet.

From Syndicate Sunday I have this jacket by Psycho Barbie, you get a lot of colours for just L$69 and the jacket is pretty nicely done. Also these earrings, which are some shameless self-promotion, as they are made by me and have 13 colours for L$69. I teamed these up with some cute leggings from MuggleBorn and boots from Justice. The boots come with a "loose" fit so they can fit over leggings and tight pants which is absolutely amazing and I know I will be wearing these a lot. You can also purchase these in male sizes as well.

On my face, I have these rigged piercings by Suicidal Unborn which actually come as a set that you can show and hide for each piece. There are 15 piercings on the face in total, including eyebrows, nose, cheeks etc. I only have this 1 lip piercing and Medusa piercing because I don't like too many piercings on at once. I like having the options there so I can pick and choose which ones I want on each time.
