As Cold As Ice | Winter's Hollow & Saturday Sale

Good afternoon! I hope everyone enjoyed their festivities if you had any. I am glad that it is all over and I can just focus on the excitement of New Years, or Hogmanay as we say here. Today I have a post that is sort of winter inspired and fantasy inspired and just a bit magical inspired. Not going to lie, I had nothing planned for today, zilch. But when these awesome boots for Saturday Sale came my way and this super cute lingerie from Muggleborn, I just had to put them on and do something. So here it is!
So for anyone curious, Hogmanay is basically an old Scottish word that means the last day of the year. I am from way up north where we have Scottish and Nordic roots and this time of year is a big celebration for us. It is a time to get together, dance, reminisce, and get wasted. The celebrations usually start on the evening of the 31st, and run right through until whenever you pass out the next day. And no need to worry about work after all that, because January 2nd is a bank holiday here. It is the one time where communities come together, have street parties (or block parties if you are American), host Ceilidh's (Scottish dancing, music, etc), and generally just set aside your differences and get drunk together. I love Hogmanay far more than Christmas!
Now, for my outfit. As I said above these boots are in this weeks Saturday Sale and are just L$65, with 4 texture faces and 5 colours to choose from. Not only are their these boots, but 4 other shoes from QE as well. I grabbed this lingerie by Muggleborn because it is just so damn cute. Again there are multiple texture faces to customize, that is if you get the fatpack. It also comes with garters but they didn't go well with these boots so I left them off since they are a separate piece, which is great. I tried a few colours and styles and spent a while trying to figure what I was going to do for this post. The jewellery and staff go together nicely, so I put those on and tried to make everything match. At first, I went for blue and gold to match the staff, but I had a sexy Princess Jasmine vibe going on that I didn't quite like. It wasn't until I went down the white and silver route that everything fell into place.
Once I added this robotic makeup from Psycho Byts it really came together. Yes, these are for a robotic look. In fact, the pack comes with 2 eye options, one having an infrared pupil which is really near. However, I think it worked well with my Ice Queen look. I then ran over to Luanes Winter World for photos, and boom. Job done... well not really I reshot my photos 3 times, but you get the point. Hope you like it!
