Did you read that to the tune of "I wish it could be Christmas everyday"? If not then go back and read it to that tune. Anyways, I do wish Halloween was more than just 1 token day before the world is smothered in Christmas crap. That is something I love about Second Life. Halloween is a full month long season of parties, hunts, games, and dress up! I love it so much and wish Real Life was more like that.
Alrighty, so its the first Sunday of the month and you know what that means. It's Syndicate Sunday! There has been a big change with it now running from the first Sunday of the month until the Second Sunday of the month. So a full week of L$69 sales. I have a bunch of items from the event in this post, as well as items from the SLS Trick Or Treat event ranging from L$25 to L$50.
My outfit is pretty simple really but is very much an everyday outfit I would in Second Life. I felt it fitted the scene, as the idea is that witchcraft is not just for Halloween. Its made up mostly of bargains which is awesome! I would usually show off the items I got from Fifty Linden Friday and Saturday Sale with my Sunday post. However, I got a lot of pink and fluffy things so not really appropriate for the look I was creating.
I wanted to also talk about a couple of the items in the scene. The diffuser on the shelf in the corner is really neat. It has a few vapor options and options for the lights including a slow colour change one that cycles through all the colours of the rainbow. I love this, and we have a little mad scientist area in our attic so I may put it up there to give a weird science vibe. The cauldron also has some beat features. See the little basket on the floor? If you click that you get a menu with options of what you would like in the cauldron. You then click the cauldron to fill it and it will bubble and swirl with your choice.
